Our anchor in life, Jesus Christ, is not found in the depths of the sea below but in the Heaven's above. The rope attached to our Anchor is there for us to tug on to get our boat closer to the Anchor itself. It's not there to get the anchor to come to us.
Praise the Lord, Jesus is a firm and steady anchor all of us can rely on to keep us where we need to be. One who remains where He is even when we drift away. Forever waiting for us as we find our way back.
Thank you Lord for being our anchor and for being the same today as You were yesterday and will be tomorrow.
